一、体会content的用法和意义
①She is quite content to stay at home looking after her children.她很满意待在家里照顾孩子。
②Andy is content with the toy.It is the best he has ever got.安迪对这个玩具很满意，这是他得到的最好的玩具。
③I like the style of his writing but I don’t like the content.我喜欢他的写作风格，但不喜欢他写的内容。

二、作为动词时的用法：
content侧重于“知足”。可以理解为“使自己甘心于做某事”，虽然这件事情并不是自己想要的。例：
I wanted to take two weeks' holiday, but had to content myself with one because the office was so busy.
Most manufacturers content themselves with updating existing models.
Mr. Li has been asking for more responsibility, but has had to content himself with a minor managerial post.
此外，content作形容词用时，也能表达“知足”的含义。
